@northwesttaco how bad was the traffic driving west on 2?

 

Sucked from Startup through Sultan. After that it was easy going

 

Not me today but a buddy. This was up Manastash close to funny rocks.

 

Made it up far...

 

What trail did he take? Not sure I'd feel comfortable taking any trail to get to the rocks in snow..

 

Not sure. He was with a lot of guys. Jeep and Toyota related. No discretion just capable rigs. He also happens to be a ARB rep so he's not lacking on the accessories or hardware. he was the one that had the 2016 with ARB bumper and snorkel along with ome shocks etc on the speedway blue 2016 that @JDAM saw going through north bend one day.

 

Hmm. There was a nice LS swapped Jeep on 40's that flew past us only to stop in the middle of the trail to air down, blocking us from going around. I've never seen so many trailers up on Tonga ridge.. it was insane.

 

This is their ARB equipped jeep at Evans/Natchez run a few wks ago.

Not surprising. These guys are very social and hold no grudges between platforms. They accommodate everyone. which is pretty much the ARB and now the OME way. They are there to ple

 

thats refreshing. we went to AOP in TN on a weekend they were having a jamboree and didnt know it until it was too late. there were 100 +/- jeeps....and 6-7 tacomas. we ended up making friends with ONE jeep who rode with us the entire weekend and either got neutral or "looks" from over 75% of the other riders. I think thats so dumb that people just cant have a good time and hang out.


it probably didnt help that 3 tacomas and the 1 jeep joined in 4 vehicle race, all other teams were jeeps. naturally we won, it was a driver/navigator team per vehicle (and the drivers were blindfolded..haha).


i happened to take first place time over all...nbd (it was a time trial event, each time added up, 1 lap/rig). and this happened

 

That silver double cab looks like the beast before it was the beast haha.

 

that truck is sick! haha LT, 4 link rear. it was a long bed and he and I were the only ones in the TN group LB...then it was just me lol

 

Left the house, roads and my area was dry. Get to work, it starts raining. Get a picture from the kids daycare right down the road from my house... good layer of snow on the ground.

Had I waited an hour to go to work, I could have stayed home. Damnit.

 

How I want some snow. On my new truck, I have Toyo RT 285/70/17 brand new. Really looking to see how this truck does. It dipped down below 30 last night here, but there are nearly clear skies and only a layer of frost this morning.

 

I want to go snow wheeling! Finally got home Saturday. My gf finally let me put my clothes on and come to work today

Girlfriend totalled her Durango though in Eastern Oregon on Thanksgiving eve. She's not hurt. Hit black ice and went into a ditch. She said she's gonna be paranoid for a bit when going out with me.

 

Damn that sucks on the Durango!

 

it's ok, it was starting to have constant problems at about 190k miles. We are shopping around for a used 4-Runner for her.

 

What's her budget?
