    Morning Andy.
    Not to make light of the situation, but the thought of an 18 yr old not being able to drive for 6 months ... Poor kid, that's gonna be frustrating as hell for him. :frusty:

    I do pray they figure out what caused the seizure and it's something as simple as dehydration. :pray:

    Good morning, and happy Monday. On the subject of fuel and ethanol I hate the stuff and live in corn country. Hard to find a place without it but of all places did at the pumps at the Fleet and Farm about a year ago. Every year drain the snowblower of that crap, and I use stabil too, including taking the bolt out of the carb to drain that also. And fight every year anyhow to get that pig started, gunked up, varnish, you name it. Last year got the 87 non ethanol fuel and ran it in the snow blower and just for a test left it in all summer. Yesterday needed it for the first time and plugged it in (12 hp so got electric crank) primed, choked and hit the start button. 10 seconds later was up and running. I'm 100% sold that ethanol is nothing but trouble.

    Had to deal with that a few years ago and is scary as hell. Yes you and I are both too old for that shit!! My heart goes out to you, him and your family and I really hope it is nothing serious and NEVER happens again. Hope all goes well for him!

    NOT funny! Early 80's drove my FJ55 on a trail up to Mt. Baker in Washington State. Was pretty rough even early on and when got to a point where there was a sign that said lock hubs in now my friend and I just looked at each other like holy shit! Got to the top and there was a big clearing. With about 20 VW vans and a bunch of hippies from Seattle sitting around smoking dope and drinking. They were pretty cool with us even though we were shorthair military types and we sat around talking for a couple of hours. I asked one of them how the hell did those VW vans make it up the trail. He said the power of Peace and Pot LOL.

    It is slowly sliding down here Rob but would be much obliged if you could keep that sub zero stuff up your way :p Stay warm!

    So I just went to look out on the deck and see what birds were on the feeders. 2 fat gray squirrels took off running down a white birch tree that is leaning near the deck. Noticed the last strand of my red, white and blue lights weren't working so went out to check them out. The damn tree rats had chewed off a red bulb, the wires on one strand are just hanging there. That's it! Have a scoped pellet gun sitting by the door and I shoot red squirrels on sight they cause a lot of damage. The grays have just put themselves on the dinner list....

    Well since I know my father doesn't read this board lol :} This ties into your tree rat issues :}
    When he retired off the job in 1997 he was getting into relaxing on the back deck with his coffee in the morning. Well he figured he would have some entertainment while drinking his coffee and hung up bird feeders on the trees and lilac bushes . No protection for them just hung them up off a wire. It did not take long for the Red / gray squirrels to find the free food nor the chipmunks or black birds. Which would scare off the nice birds he wanted to watch listen too etc . Sooo still being a very proficient shooter he took to sitting out there with a Ruger 22 buckmark with a bull barrel. Well after a while of this he grew bored with the 22 and I think retirement lol so he started working his way up the calibers.. Yep 22,380.9mm,45 all semi autos. I have a 41 mag revolver collector piece really he asked what I was doing with it I knew he already went through his 22 and 38/357 wheel guns .. Yeah umm told him nope I am NOT bringing it to you to shoot squirrels and birds !! LOL He would literally shoot them and either bury what was left or hang it up on the out skirts of the property to warn the others away lol. Ok so he went a little nuts for a while... But it is funny I can just envision this drinking coffee reading paper look up damn ( xxxxxxx) I will show you ! Boom hows that 41 mag feel back to sipping coffee and reading newspaper.

    Good Morning everyone and Happy Monday or TGIM LOL!!

    Been a busy weekend with cleaning up all the debris from the wind especially in the garage . Also hung Christmas tree lights yesterday and some inside . Since I was in the Christmas spirit I bought a wreath for the Tacoma

    Come to find out the wreath is to big for the front as it covers most of the grill and license plate . I've always had a wreath on my trucks this time of year but I guess the Tacoma won't

    Today not doing anything exciting , maybe clean up some more

    Andy , hope your son feels better and that the doctors can figure out what triggered the seizure . knowing you were out in the desert this last weekend and it being windy did the doctors in the ER check for ticks ???

    I had a friend of mine have the same thing happen to him and they found a tick buried in his scalp
