The led cups are chrome so they still have good throw the front is black though. Install..was pretty straight forward really took maybe 1-2 hours was drinking beer so time schmime lol. I ran into a couple snags.

#1 the bolts that came with the light bar wouldn't fit through the rago fabrication brackets so had to grind the brackets a bit..may not experience this with other brackets or bars though.

#2 it's a tight fit getting the bar ends bolted onto the brackets..hard to line up the holes only because it's tough to see.

Only modification was cutting the two plastic inserts you pull off after removing the grill.

Really all pretty easy though. I was sweating the switch swap but thats probably the easiest part. The switch only comes on when I push it to turn the bar on. I didn't care about it being lit with the dash lights or headlights.

Sweet grill I have the same one. I don't see many people with this grill. Haven't run into anyone on the road with it yet.

From suggestions seen here on TW, I did the tailgate, badge, and dash stickers. I'm definitely pleased with the look.

Yea I think he wanted to fab his own bed anyway. My dad got another first gen rust free too with only 36,000 miles. Your 1st gen is solid too btw.

Everyone is talking about these stickers that go over the Tacoma across the tailgate but im wondering...

Mine came (off the lot) with blacked out badges that fill in the 'TACOMA' across the tailgate... Theyre actual badges. I've yet to see anyone with them. Thoughts?

It's all about the camera angle. I'm not saying this particular tire is a 32.25" I'm saying they don't measure up to what the website says..... they're not a 33" tire no matter how you measure them call discount tire, google search. Hell check it yourself. Look at bfgs website and look at what a 295/75r16 is supposed to measure. Not even close
