It is. I'm not sure if ARB has something similar but turnbuckles to eye bolts work, just not as quick but it would be cheaper. If I didn't already have the Slide Lock thing I wouldn't buy it now.

That's not mine, just a Google image.

There are lots of ways to approach it. Drilling through your floor is one but what he's using is looks like those aircraft style tie downs. You can get the track, bolt it down and use all kinds of cargo. Like perhaps a motorcycle, too.

    Here's another idea, using straps.

You seem to be an ARB fridge/freezer expert. What's your opinion on the cover/jacket? Is it worth the $$?

Expert, nope. I've just had one for a long time and love it.

I have the transit bag on my Engel. It helps insulate and will prevent normal scrapes, so it's not wasted money. Whether the ARB needs it or not I couldn't say. They are plastic on the outside (my Engel is metal) and the walls I understand are thicker. So it's probably not as important with them.

Get the jacket. I've ran it with and without. The compressor Def cycles more often with it off.

I haven't had a warm beverage at RC yet. A couple of frozen milk jugs filled with water in my Coleman get the job done every time
