Sorry to see the damage. Glad you're ok, nobody else was hurt and hopefully insurance doesn't decide its totaled.

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
He's a turd gen guy. You wouldn't understand his amazing depth of knowledge or expertise in the area of measuring small things without a tape measurer.

Very doubtful? He'd probably say, "Some dumbass that doesn't know how to drive in a little bit snow hit me" if that was the case.

Did the leaf spring centering pin shear off and the axle slipped back on the leaf spring?

That really sucks man, sorry. Not to be that guy, but 4x4 only helps handling if you're driving appropriately for conditions and doesn't help you stop.

Or maybe you wait for the OP to further explain what happened before jumping down his throat? People are entitled to their opinions, but you don't have to try and demean someone to get your high and mighty opinion across.

    Geez!

gottaToy obviously has experience with exaggerations in measuring. "I swear it's 6 inches, I just measured it!"

No doubt about what "toy" this clown actually gots!

No it was all me, was in 4 hi the whole time, but the corner at 20 i guess was too much for me. I was one of the firsts to actually go that way on that road so it was like basically a sheet of ice :(

Lesson learned, when in snow just walk to school.

Damm... sorry about the truck but the main thing is your ok. The snow is just starting here on the High Desert and sold the Subaru a few months back... now I really don't look forward to driving the truck this winter. Just curious... did you have any additional weight in the bed?

Not sure if i want a 01 (no clue how 4runner gens work) or a 04-05. Those are my only options right now sadly but i will make do. Because now that i think about it, the bed of a truck is nice but anything i did with the bed i could also do with a roof rack, or just the back of a 4runner. Besides the one time i moved a snow blower with my truck.

So honestly between the 3.4 in a 4runner, and the 4.0 in a 4runner, you basically get the same mpg's correct? Just more power for the suv body.

    4runner are:

    1st gen: 84 - 89
    2ng gen: 90 - 95
    3rd gen: 96 - 02
    4th gen: 03 - 09
    5th gen: 10 - present?

Edit: I only know this because I used to have a 3rd gen, and I have very... Let's say interesting.. dreams about the 1st gen.

If something like that happens to mine, I'd consider an FJ, since I'm single with no one else to haul around.
