I heard that!! I've been riding pretty consistently for 6 or 7 years now. Tough balancing the hobbies but biking is definitely a priority for me..

And a photo similar to yours

Nice what did you think of the ride? I was surprised to see so many guys with no right being on a 30 mile ride. We had the late shuttle and we passed guys at the top having issues with the first wooded section. When we got to the road I realized some of those guys have to have taken a out some where there was no way they would get out before dark.

I dig that ride. Parts of it are stupid, like the jeep road section, but overall a pretty fun time. We started late since we drove up from phx, got to Moab around 2, did the late shuttle and left the next day for CO.

When you're back, we should do some riding! I have an awesome crew that I ride with and we ride all over AZ, NV, CO, CA pretty regularly with several bike park trips every summer

Anyone on here from North Carolina/Tennessee area on here? I'm looking to plan a simmer vacation trip down there to do some sight seeing and mountain biking.

I'm in TN. Most of the prime riding around here is in the East. Chattanooga has some good trails. I hear that Knoxville does too but I haven't ridden there. We have some good stuff in Nashville, but I likely wouldn't travel a long way to ride here.

That's around where I've been looking. tsali park seems to be pretty highrated. I've heard Brevard is pretty technical, and I plan to bring my girlfriend who i would say is an intermediate rider, but dosent enjoy to many technical obstacles

For sure. The Wife and I will be in Sedona for the MTB Festival in May. And I would be down for a few trips. I think next summer I will be heading up to Denver to stay with some friends and hit some parks. Also I want to do another BME round maybe Keystone again.

Dude, CO kicks ass. I did two weeks up there this summer. Trestle, Keystone, Pedal riding in Vail and Crested Butte. In Crested Butte, we rode with the founders of BME and those dudes damn near killed us. Awesome riding though!! A couple of my buddies did the BME in Keystone.

Tsali is smooth and fast. Not technical at all. Fontana Dam has cabins you can rent. Stay there or Bryson City. Brevard has a lot of everything. Access roads you can climb and single track back down the mountains. So in a nut shell Bryson City & Fontana are close to each other. Brevard and Asheville are close together.

well, after 3 years of only riding downhill, i decided i should get another bike for when i can't make it to the parks. went with a giant reign. bone stock for now... and it'll probably stay like that because all my money goes into my truck or my DH rig.
if anyone on here is in the denver / boulder area, hit me up, i need some riding buddies.

I'll let you know. But from demoing one, it's not the most remarkable climber. But it kills on descents. Coming from only riding DH, I'd much rather have bomb descents and a little struggle up hill any day of the week.
