I liked this post...sort of sums it up. What I curious about is what pervert would add those comments to the end of the post (#18). I was showing my wife a comment about something she was interested and similar comments were attached to one of the posts. She is certainly not a prude nor did it shock her but she simply asked "who in the (you fill in the blank) are you corresponding with?"

Where do these comments come from....a "hacker"?

Thanks "daddy_o"---it was those quotes in the signature box I was referring to. I gave a "like" to the information in the post.

Two wrongs and all that... Keep in mind that some guys who buy Toyotas play golf with the guy who owns the dealership. His bad time in the shop can be your bad time in the morning. Not being a dick is a two way street.

While that may be true, typically if the customer knows anyone tied to the dealership a tech will know it, and those guys will not come in demanding like Joe blow off the street because they know how priority treatment works.

Got a call from the service manager today he said that they still can't figure out why the truck runs like that and will need to keep it a few more days.

You can turn off the option of showing signatures and avatars in most forums. You don't have to see that stuff if you don't want to. You will still have full access to the regular posts etc. It takes away from the clutter of the page too.

Don't most states allow you a 3 day recision period on the sale? You should have just left it with them and given them the keys back. Sounds like a turd built later on a Friday shift or a Monday morning hangover. Toyota quality control.

This. I'd probably do the same thing. A 2 day old car should be trouble free.

Well I found out my problem today. Fuckin' rodent chewed through the wire for the crankshaft position sensor. $700 to fix the damn thing. Insurance pays $200, and I pay $500.

Dealership couldn't find the problem with my truck. They ended up giving my a new one. Worst truck buying experience ever.
