FEELER: tooter II.VII 2 inch thick intake manifold spacers

He won't sell the design. I asked to help him find a CNC house but he only want to find someone that he trust that won't take his design. I never had the intake spacer so I don't know how much of a difference it'll make... but with this puny engine, the smallest I had for a while... any little bit helps...especially since from gen 1 to gen 2 the body has grown in weight.

So unfortunately force induction isn't legal in California unless it's CARB approved...it's too much hassle let a lone the LCE header. In fact I think this tooter spacer is also not legal...but have to wait and see if there will be issues with getting it smogged. I don't know if the LCE header will have issues with smog passing the CO2 limit but this spacer shouldn't affect it expect visual inspection.

 

If a CNC house steals the design, how would they know what engine/make/model/year its for?

Regardless, that sucks, if he ever does another batch, I'm in also. I don't have a I4, but considering getting one in the near future.

 

Man i have had this spacer for so long and still not installed it lmao. Became really busy iver the last year and a half. I have the lce header and it made a difference for sure but im kinda finished with modding thia truck so i may be selling ny unused spacer. Cleaning out the garage and def thinking about it

Good deal...had to think for an hour...I didn't see install video on what is required...worried like I had with LCE header where it didn't fit because Toyota changed the head (LCE made it right and corrected it...great customer support). I think 2013 below should be safe. I popped the hood and wonder what happens to the box on top of the engine...pushing it out 2" not sure what happens. Wish there was an install video or picture of it...I searched for Tooter's install but didn't see any.

I messaged Tooter about borrowing the design to make myself one. I'd be willing to possibly look into getting a batch run if he would be willing to give me a drawing. I'm sure I could come up with a design on my own but I don't really feel like it.
