They have to be welded together, but it isn't bad. Maybe 2 hours for a shop to fully weld them up and on the truck. You'd still save some money vs. the others.

I really like the idea of bolt one as I feel that it keeps me out of a shop and pushes me do something myself..

This. Good advice whether you bolt on or weld on. I hit my sliders more than anything else on my truck. LCA and IFS skids are probably tied for second. I like the kickout option also, and I kind of want mine to be plated on the top now to make them better as steps for my wife and others getting in the truck.

 

Where did you get hired at? Is that the job you were interviewing for a few weeks ago??
I got a call from UBS recruiter this morning. I'm a long way from a job there, but I'm stoked to even get a call from them.

As for the snorkel Shit Show.... Some time after Christmas, probably in January! If that dickweed ever shows his face at a TW meet again, he'll likely end up getting castrated...

 

St. Thomas West. It was the job I interviewed for a few weeks ago. My official start date is the 12th, but that will basically just be a day I go in to figure out my schedule. I'm going to try and work as much as I can. I have my last final of this semester tomorrow, and then start classes back on Jan 18 which means I will have to cut back then.

 

Also, ths was on my truck at school today.

Congrats. I birthed a couple babies there. Maybe that was st. Thomas midtown??? Different place? It was baptist for the first baby.


My 7 min. Commute plans didn't work out. Wife decided the Jetta was too small and took her Altima back.

 

Well that sucks about the commute, but good about the Jetta. Yeah, St. Thomas Midtown used to be Baptist, and it always will be to me. It's hard for me to add the "West" to St. Thomas because I've always known it as just "St. Thomas."
