I got a question, "if" the TRD engine is different, why the same specs?

 

You don't have a wiper with intermittent speed control standard in your Tacoma?

 

Was asking myself the same question... Is this not a standard option on base???

Guys, intermittent wipers came with the SR5 package.

 

So, why would a twin turbo 2nd gen truck be running around in Japan? That seems odd. Designed here, built here. Not that you have to have it, but did they build a right hand drive prototype for engineers there to run around in?

 

But maybe not the SR (2015) and base models prior.

Oh, and by the way, my Prerunner came without intermittent wipers, but it's an easy upgrade.

I've got a good buddy that works at the Toyota engine plant in Huntsville AL. where all the 4.0s have been made. I'll see if they run a TRD line.

 

Not sure about past '10 or so... but didn't all TRD's include the SR5 features??? So then fight4function's TRD OR would have the intermittent wiper
