Oregon and Washington BS thread

No, I have 10 acres, the back 5.5 I don't visit very often. My neighbor to the north has 2 lots, one of 10 acres, the other 15, and we could easily use one of his lots as well without him noticing. If nothing else, leave bodies out for coyotes to take down to bones, the run the rest through either a very hot firepit, or the wood chipper.

Video doesnt really mean much though. All it shows is a guy hooking a trailer up and driving off. The guy driving the truck could make all sorts of claims that would then be hard to disprove. Could claim he was hired by who he thought was the owner to move it somewhere. Hooked it up and dropped it off at a random place where the "owner" told him to leave it.

When i hired a guy to pick up a non-running vehicle i did it all through email. (Craigslist at that). I told the guy the address to pick it up and what it was and where to drop it off. Met him there, paid him cash, and off he went. I didnt even get his name or anything till the end when he gave me a business card if i ever needed towing service again. Guess my point is it would be easy to claim the same sort of deal occurred and would be hard to prove by the police. Especially if he "delivered" it to a like wal-mart parking lot.


Still a really shitty deal....especially on a new trailer! I do hope they catch the bastard though! And i dont mean to sound like im defending him either!

I can imagine it is some of the complete asshole hunters in the areas. I know some of them blame us OHV people for scaring off animal populations... when they are just shitty hunters.

 

It would be wise to have some sort of lead vitamin dispenser ready and available on your person.
