Morning all . More rain today:annoyed:. Really bothers the knee (doctor says it's osteoarthritis). Getting shots but not helping much. One more to go and if it doesn't work, I may need a replacement. Don't want to go that route just yet. Just one of the draw backs of getting older.

Sorry to hear Arthur has your knee Ken.

Got excited today, checking on the Toyota incentives for the Avalon and saw it was 0% financing for 72 months and $1000 cash rebate. Found out it was for another area of the country.

0 % financing is for those who are bad at math.

Sorry Ken... have you tried glucosamine/chondroitin and tumeric? the combination has made my knees bearable for the most part.

    :burnrubber: road trip!!!

No, it's for folks who want to save some $$. How's it going Fred?

Still haven't gotten the hang of the quoting since they changed the TW program. Took me an hour to figure out how to change my emoticon to a Christmas one.:annoyed:

Different reasons for the 0% financing. In our case the cost for some of the payments will probably be coming out of an IRA that I will need to pay taxes on. The wife is set to retire in 4 years so the last 2 years of the loan will generate less expense on the interest obligation on money coming out of the IRA.

Yup, snowing on Mauna Kea, but it was around 72* this morning when I left my house. Weather better for surfing.
Big ceremony at Pearl Harbor today commemorating the 75th anniversary of the attack. Got emotional watching interviews of some of the survivors on TV last night. Whenever I drive by Pearl and see the fleet, or see a formation of F22 Raptors flying over, I always wonder why any country would want to F*%k with the USA.

Just had a thought; Colin Kaperdick and others of his ilk should come and sit with the Pearl survivors at the ceremonies, and then get dropped off in the middle of the channel. (Some BIG sharks there)

    Aloha All!

Suiting them up and letting them go door knocking in Afghanistan is another option I would support.

I hear you!! I spent a couple of months in Pearl Harbor in early '69 while they patched up the USS Enterprise that I was on. Sat on the pier every day watching the filming of TORA TORA TORA. Was weird seeing the wannabe JAP planes flying over. Probably stressed out the older locals. Son and I visited during the '90's and did the Arizona monument tour .... very moving. Most interesting was the fact that most of the tourists on that day were young Japanese folks.

 I like that idea!!!! He's entitled to his opinion but he should be doing something about it... I can think of a few ways, but I'd probably get the ol' ban hammer swung my way, so......

    I like this, too!!!!

Don't think it would do any good... it's ALWAYS someone else's fault - :annoyed:

Not gonna consider him really elected until after the electoral college has officially voted. Makes no sense that they don't vote on election day

    How's it going Fred?

    Evening all:
Deer season closed today, no deer! :(
Now it's on to the untrusty flintlock in two weeks. Worse part is when one finally stands in front of you and the darn thing doesn't fire!

Carl, you could just come on down to Alabama. Deer season ends Feb. 10th. If you want you can use semi auto center fires also.

Also, if you want you can use inline or bolt action muzzle loaders WITH scopes in Alabama.
