I changed the rail, bolt and carrier, cerakote finish, and a few minor changes here and there as well. I bought my colt because I had one when I served and I got a good deal on the purchase. yeah the front sight sucks but with a new gas block and rail I got rid of my factory one. Also this isn't mine but this is what it looked like from the factory. They are super easy to customize but it is an expensive hobby haha.

Went to the Costa Mesa gunshow in OC CA. The haul included a 1/2 point paracord QD sling, Magpul VG, and Magpul winter trigger guard.

Also picked up the Geissele super 42 steelbraided silent buffer spring and enhanced buffer for their black friday sale, as well as 2 halo sites, one for me, and one for my dad for christmas. And my UBR gen 2 is still on-order. You could say I have a lot riding on USPS right now. lol

Woohoo for Larue. Ordering direct from Larue is so worth it for the swag like Dillo, Dillo Dust and etc:

For anyone interested in an AR platform, check out my brothers company. It has been over a year in the making, finding just the right components to craft a well manufactured, made in the USA, weapon. He's an officer in the special forces and has turned his passion into his career.

Insurgent Tactical is a veteran-owned and operated business with the intent to produce not just a rifle, but a tool, by implementing the years of knowledge, experience, and application learned along the way. The concept behind the company’s name is to pay tribute to the Nation’s founding Patriots, the insurgents, who are responsible for the founding of this great nation.

Well, PSA contacted me last Thursday and sent me a shipping label to get it on UPS
to the correct buyer, lol. The lady I talked to said they are so busy and the fact that
part of my email address is in the name of the company and she mistakenly shipped it to
me. So the pile of goodies is on it's way to the rightful owner now.
She also said they would send me a few goodies, so will be interesting to
    see what it will be.
