3°F currently (2AM), looks like we're warming a little with highs in the teens and positive single digit lows for a while. Slight chance of some more snow. Hope the rain lets up for ya'll.

It's a work in progress. See my build thread.
Morning, folks... My sinuses are trying to explode out of my head this morning. Not sure if there's a weather change moving in, or if I've caught something. So it's stay home, and try to cope. Mucinex and advil. Washed down with hot tea... Hopefully that will help, and I can at least feel slightly human again.

Good morning. Was sleeting last night when I went to bed and just quit 9 hours later. Turned to snow a couple of hours ago so have a nice layer of ice on everything and temps are dropping and will the rest of the day. From the forecast will not get back up above freezing until next year. What a mess outside. Looks like the snow finally stopped so time to go try and shovel ice and snow. Supposed to go to PT today but called at 7 and told them couldn't make it, shoveling should suffice. Although she did say I wasn't supposed to shovel...

Once they cut the fields around here and it starts to get colder the field mice move in with a vengeance. Think I finally got them all finally or close to it. Couple of days ago went to blow snow and grabbed my knee high rubber boots in the garage. Lived in the South enough years I always turn my boots upside down and shake them to get rid of anything that might have crawled in them. About 50 pieces of dog food came out of one boot! Hopefully got that sucker already. I used to set a bucket trap with water in it and tin can with peanut butter around the middle suspended by a wire so they drop off and drown. But the scratching on the sides of the bucket as they tried to swim and keep from drowning drove me nuts, guess I'm not the hardcore trapper I used to be. Have a dozen snap traps set around the place where the dogs can't get to them and check them twice a day.

Get a multi-trap and then drive the mice far away from your house. https://www.amazon.com/Catchmaster-612-Multi-Catch-Mouse-Trap/dp/B003OS38NG

Around my property, the blackhawks take care of anything smaller than a squirrel.

I've seen those advertised. Is there any odor of burning rodent hair/flesh?

@CVYota-Andy, sorry to hear they found some abnormalities. The good thing is that now they can be addressed. Yes we have seen many people develop seizures from the Welbutrin, kind of a double-edged sword, it helps but has risks. Lamictal is a good medicine, just monitor for side-effects, if they are too uncomfortable there are other meds to try. The goal of treatment is never another seizure and little to no side-effects. (Never stop an AED, anti-epileptic drug, cold turkey) Best wishes, and again if I can help in any way, let me know.

PS:Thanks guys for the kudos, I was a medic for 18 years and reserve FF, then blew three discs in my back, went back to school at 46 and now have been doing this for almost seven years. I just really enjoy helping others in their time of need.

@Truggin-Awesome video! That is just the type of trip I like, out exploring the backwoods with a few good friends without beating the crap out of my truck. We like to bring the Coleman's along and warm up some chili or soup while stopped at a good lunch spot. Thanks for sharing the trip with us.
