Hey @Coop68! Couple questions for you:

Are you running a toytec boss kit with Dakars+AAL? Are you experiencing any takeoff vibes/shudder?

One of the guys that we work with has been trying to track down some of that on his 2011 Sport. It's the white one that parks out in front; not sure if you've seen it. Anyway, just trying to help him out and was curious about your truck's setup.

Take off vibes are common after a lift on the 2nd gens. There are 2 things to try but not guaranteed to fix it. 3° shims in the leaf pack which worked for me in my earlier lift stages or the carrier bearing drop if it's a DC.

 

yeah i know which one your talking about has method standard rims on it. curious on the blue truck also he has a boss kit and relentless armor all around.

I am running the Boss kit, with Dakars did not do the +AAL since i don't carry a lot of weight in the back yet.
i have noticed a little but nothing to crazy really depends how much gas i give it. i will have to see after work again.

Toytec actually has several options

 

Multiple options. 3 degrees is the way to go?

 

I did 3 degrees on my last lift, I think thats some standard magical number that always works

 

CB drop applies to Access cab too!

 

Do the solid steel ones. They are 3 degrees

 

x2 on the steel, definitely don't get aluminum shims

 

I used the shims in the kit from toytec ill have too look i think they are aluminum but not sure. Guess ill have to take a look and see.

Did they have a slot cut into them or a single hole for the center pin to go through?

It was the center hole if i recall.
