I hit 1000 miles today. Took me 20 days from when I picked it up.

The guy has done so much for me,to and from work for 2 years while I had no license . he offered to buy a new one but I couldnt take the money, didn't feel right . I'll eventually get a new one

So you'd recommend the regulars over the low pros? I think I'd like some visors so I can crack the windows while it's raining to get some airflow in the cab. In-channels for sure. Any issues with taking out the old visors, like lingering sticky residue? Thanks!

 

Yes, I have that mount installed in my 3rd Gen.
Just be careful when you go to slide it in place, you have to gently push the edge of the headliner out of the way to get it started and don't lever on it when doing so. I've heard of people cracking their windshield doing it.
It was no problem when I did it, just don't force it.
Makes a noticeable different in opening up the view out.

 

Awesome, I'll keep that in mind. I would prefer to keep my windshield uncracked. I got the version with the ram mount because why not.

 

LOL I did worst part and example of my luck,I had them on.cleaned the truck and didn't put back on,next day it happened . just like with the whole cell phone case always take it off and that day it breaks
