I might be wrong but I don't think you can get credit for the first book. I "think" you had to have it finished by a certain date to get credit. Again I could be wrong.

 

You may have misunderstood, Im referring to year 3 book, it will be done in 2 more trials passages for me. At least until they add to it (if they do)

I assuming SPL and the new exotics will be added to it, but that's purely speculation atm.

Y2 book closed befire RoI. Nothing more can be done there.

They are bringing back the Icebreaker which I'm happy about. That was the second exotic that I ever got out of the game. I ended up using that sniper like a primary. A new scoring system for strikes is coming out and will give you a actual reason to play strikes again. SRL was a fun distraction last year and if you weren't 335 at the time it didn't take long to get drops to get you to 335 by playing SRL.

 

To accompany Strike Scoring, for the first time, Zavala will offer bounties related to making your way through strikes, not unlike the bounties you get from Variks for runs at Prison of Elders. By participating in these bounties, players can acquire one of the long-absent exotic weapons that dominated Year 1 play – the exotic sniper rifle, Ice Breaker, now redesigned and light-boosted for Year 3 play. Players have a chance for Ice Breaker to drop when completing Zavala's Nightfall bounty.

Mmm... I doubt we'll see a light increase until the next expansion. I really wish they would up the light level on all the previous raids. I would love to go back and play VoG (which is still my favorite).

 

That'll happen in the April update most likely.

 

I would imagine so. Each time there is a large update or expansion is "usually" when they raise the LL.

 

Okay... So the most fun you can have in destiny right now is private matches. We played elimination last night for about 5 hours since it is most like Trials. It is so much fun just going in and fucking around and doing things you wouldn't normally do in a real match. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. There were so many good moments last night I really wish I would have recorded them. Pulled off some ridiculous no scopes and had some pulled on me. The first match I did nothing except run around and teabag. Never even fired a shot. One of my teammates would kill someone and I'd come in behind and teabag lol (don't worry... I got the shit teabagged out of me too). Average match time was 16 mins with the longest being over 30 on Widows Court. Matches set up at 7 wins. Everyone in the group is really cool and it's just a lot of fun going in and fucking around with each other.

I played for a few games last night. It wasnt too bad but we will see just how bad everyone with a shotgun makes it.
We faced a team last night with 2 jug titans running interference. They were garbage.

I went positive every match.

I think the best strategy was one team that had 1 sniper that was a beast. He was sniping everyone that went fornthe spark and kept changing his spot and shade stepping. Dude was good at snipe and run.

 

I just can't get into Rift. If the rewards were something that I wanted I would play but I wouldn't like it. But the rewards aren't anything that I want and I checked last night and my vault is filled completely full with 108 weapons. All of which are Level 400 (not counting my yr 1 weapons) so I don't neeed anything right now.

 

I'll stick with Titanfall 2 this week and Trials this weekend

 

I just want another clever dragon with HC rounds. Ill only get that with a bounty this week tho... And the distant star.

I didnt look at the armor yet but I need a better helmet as well.

 

I'm happy with my Clever Dragon. I know of one better out there that a buddy of mine has. If I go one on one straight up against him his will beat mine by one shot every single time. I'll just switch to my Grasp and melt him when we play against each other. I've got the armor I want now exactly like I want so I'm good there. All my stuff is Trials gear now. Checked the IB stuff and the stats are worse. Sure I "might" get a better roll but I'm sitting at tier 11 on all my characters and the odds of getting to tier 12 are remote at best. Certainly not enough to play Rift for. If it were Clash or Control I'd be all over it.

 

Its those damn HC rounds, thats the only time i lose a pulse battle.
