Post a pic of the sliders and get a good pic with the legs. We can figure it out pretty quick. Grade 8 3/4 inch and 1 1/2 inches long is my first quess

I just got home, gonna go use some of my test bolts to fit through and determine hole diameter. I called the local Fastenal and they have Grade 8 in 10 packs for like $12, so it's not really going to cost much. I was thinking it would have been more expensive. If I can do this all for $20 I'll just take care of it and when they finally send me the bolts I'll use em for something else.

Drama continues. Busted out a caliper, they are 1/2" holes but the frame holes are 10mm. I'd think 1.5" is long enough no problem. Probably need washers on the slider side and a lock washer on the back side.

That's not the problem. Problem is I also busted out a tape measure. There's not holes where holes should be. I think these might be 2nd Gen sliders. I've already spend $20 on primer and 2 days working on them. I'm not moving forward with painting until I've mocked them on the truck.

Problem is, these turds are heavy. I'll solve that too.

Also, what's this thing on passenger side frame rail?

Interesting. Yea, I would make sure those sliders are for a 3rd gen.

You did order 3rd gen and they do say 3rd gen on the receipt don't they?

I would have to look at my sliders, but they may be different as I have 2nd Gen. But I am pretty sure it came with Grade 8 hardware and the only part that wrapped was that it wrapped on the bottom and then had the pieces of steel that went on the back side to sandwich the sliders to the frame.

Ok coming off the ledge. Firstly the holes in the 3rd Gen are 3/8" approx in size, I bought an assortment from home depot. I think 6 bolts per side is good.

I had my neighbor help me mock them to the sides, it does appear they will fit. The bottom lip is all there is on these, no sandwich plate. The bottom bolt is a take off from the center crossmember, you remove it, put this on it, and put it back together.

The driver side has more stuff in the way, but it's not too bad, as the brake lines are routed on the inside of the frame, not the outside.

Probably gonna spend about $30 in bolts all said and done, but that should be enough to do it right.

Might have to drill a hole or two, just for a better fit, but I'm ok with that too.

Damn, didn't even think of not having the sandwich plate not being included.

Get some good big washers to and I would almost suggest doubling washer on the back side to help sandwich it on there.

Yeah. I spent 30-35 when I replaced the SOS hardware with grade 8.

Don't know but def not 8. I broke a bolt and bent most all of the washers, when I installed them the 2nd time. I bought all new washers and bolts.
