Stock, researching lift and tire combo
Just got a 2015 Tacoma Offroad for a steal. Already browsing the forums and planning my build. I'm moving to Puerto Rico in the summer so I'm planning on starting with a 3" lift with a nice wheel and tire package followed by some armor. I plan on doing quite a bit of offloading to explore the island and see everything I can while I'm there. Any and all help during my build will be greatly appreciated!

So far I've been doing my research on 3" lifts, and as mentioned, I'll be using the truck for exploring so I'd like to be able to handle muddy terrain, sand, steep inclines, etc (don't plan on doing any intense rock crawling). I've been considering the Icon setups anywhere between a stage 4 and 6 but have also heard great things about fox, king , and ADS. Any input and pictures with these setups would be greatly appreciated before I make my first large investment into the truck. I'm also looking to fit 33" tires with as minimal trimming as possible.

Congrats on the truck, if your planning on armor try to do it before you move, as freight/shipping will be killer after the move.

Thanks everyone! Definitely plan on doing a lot of my build prior to leaving. Just waiting a few months to get all the funds in order that I should need, and I should be good to go to start buying and installing parts

I'd suggest getting your armor from @Pelfreybilt great products and great customer care.

I definitely like the pelfreybilt pieces that I've seen. I just wish they had an option on their Web page to have the powder coat finish on more than just the front bumper. Just thinking it would save me time down the road if all pieces could be shipped in the same finish and be ready to be bolted on when they show up at my doorstep....I haven't contacted them directly yet since I'm not ready to make the purchase right now, but I'm hoping they'll work with me whenever I am. They definitely have the look I like and have heard nothing but good reviews about their quality.
