    Thanks, Gramps!

I believe he has tried both individually, and also all of the possible combinations of the two. Still shudders. FWIW, riding shotgun I can BARELY detect anything, but it's his ride and he knows it best. He's gonna take it to RM Driveline and have them take a look at it. They quoted him a reasonable price to balance, replace U-joints and and also the carrier bearing, so we'll see what they say.
    Thanks, Coop!

That's the one! All three of us, including a 3rd Gen owned by one of the engineers, work in the same group down in the southeast corner of the building. The blue Gen 2 is nice, but most definitely a 'bought not built' deal. Owner is a good dude, though.

Dudes - My fiance and I are roadtripping from Virginia out to Denver to see my sister and will be there the 25th-1st. If you might be so kind to offer up opinions on...

Skiing - She suggested Copper Mountain (she's not the biggest skier but does like XC) and I've always heard of Vail but really have no idea about either one. Any suggestions on a solid resort that doesn't cost an arm and a leg? What am I looking at for a day pass?
Wheeling - How much snow is out there and any chance to get in some wheeling around Denver? I'm locked front and rear, 4.88s MT, bumper, winch, full skids and sliders, 35s, yada yada typical TW build. Any suggestions on day trips/ anyone have any day trips planned around that area and time frame?

All the resorts cost an arm and a leg, especially over the holidays. Steamboat is over $150/a ticket if you walk up to the window that time a year, Vail and Aspen are in the same ball park.

At the rate we're going you might have better wheeling than skiing, but it's more likely all the trails will be far too snowy to wheel on/closed for the season.

    Copper was always my favorite.
If she just wants to go cross country skiing, look at Eldora. it's an easier drive and should be lots cheaper.

Is that a euphemism, Jake? Because I feel like it should be.
