Craigslist ads are up. Get these out of my closet, I need more room for strippers.

I'll knock the price down $50 for a forum member.

    $85 for both
Amp puts out 300w rms bridged @4ohms 1200w peak
    Sub is 4ohm 400w rms 1500w max
    12" Pioneer Premier shallow mount

Condition is great. Sub sounds awesome for a shallow mount. Had it in a Pioneer shallow box, but this sub was too strong for it and separated it. Put it in a regular large ported box with some pillow fill (as the box was too big) and sounded great. Selling because I just upgraded to a championship 12 and its dual4ohm so this 2 channel amp can't be wired down to 2ohm stable so got the same model amp but mono, stable at 2.
But this shallow mount is 4ohm and the amp is as well when bridged. There's a good angled truck box(sealed) on Amazon for $26 that would be good for this sub here.

For future reference poly fill is usually used for boxes that are too small. It allows the air to be broken up and less dense allowing the sub to react as if its in a larger enclosure than it really is. If I'm not mistaking. So I hope you're not selling your set up thinking it sounded bad...

No not at all. like i said i originally had a sealed shallow box and it sounded great. Then bought a larger ported box since I had planned on eventually upgrading the sub as well (and needed something to put it in for the time being). But the large ported box didn't sound right with this sub. Which I expected but needed something to hold me over until I got my new sub. So I experimented and tossed some pillow fill in the box and it sounded better, as in a big bundle of it, not just lining it, to see if it would help 'reduce' the box volume. And it helped. I tested my new sub with this amp, with and without the filling, and it sounded better without. Certainly not an expert. Was just stating that in case someone had any ideas of the performance of this shallow mount sub used in a different box, like in case they already have a box or something like that.. Obviously you should get a box matched to your sub. But sometimes you can get away with it and still sound good. But that's why I listed that shallow mount box from Amazon. Just a basic cheap sub setup for someone looking for some good in cab bass. But yeah, even with the sub in that larger ported box and not being a proper match (with filling added tho) it sounded awesome.

Again, only reason I'm selling is because I finally upgraded my sub;)

lol. well, basically, subs and amps need to be wired up a specific way according to their specs. You can't just throw any sub at any amp. That's why a lot of people blow their sub/amps, or it sounds like shit. ha. Crutchfield has some good info and diagrams if you wanna learnt ya somethin. Still learning myself. A lot of it is confusing. Especially when trying to figure out what box to go with. That's where I get confused, and don't have anyone to build me a box, so I stick with the simpler and smaller setups. Usually can't go TOO wrong with a prefab box. Wiring is pretty simple tho. With the help of diagrams on crutchfield. ha.

If you ever need help, let me or @Aw9d know. I know Colby has had some bigger systems previously. There might be a few others I don't know about as well.

Ha thanks. Maybe one day I'll have a sweet system. When I win the lotto. Ha. I just experienced @Hp4Play 's system. It was AWESOME. 3 sundown 12's with a 7500w amp. That amp he said was was like $2500 iirc.
My little ol single 12 was nothing compared to that. Ha. That was the most extensive setup I've experienced 1st hand. Hope you don't mind andy;)
