I wonder if you mean Class 8.8?

Edit: Yea thems the ones. Grade 8 and Class 8.8 are different, the Grade 8's are better.

Me? No, I held them up to the frame to make sure they would match the holes, and I bought enough hardware to install one side, but I'll need a hand to relocate some lines, hold them up, mark em, and a drill a few extra holes in the frame to get em in there good. For now, if the humidity stays reasonable tomorrow and it's not too cold, I'll begin painting the topcoat on them, since I know they will fit.

If anyone is feeling helpful on Sunday I might try to put them on.

A few audio upgrades, tinted windows, remote start because it f'n hot in Texas! 6in Fabtech DB lift, 17x9 Fuel Trophy wheels, 315/70/17 Duratracs,BAMF 80in sliders w/kickout, Prinsu cab rack w/30in Heretic light bar, custom bedside decals, custom hi-lift jack brackets, US Offroad front bumper w/winch, bed rack with RTT, CB, Short wave base station, Ultra gauge, color matched grille surround, an ungodly amount of recover gear, ARB fridge, hood struts, RotoPax, traction pads.
I have BAMF sliders that are 100% bolt on there is still some adjusting that needs to be done when installing. I would suggest something stronger than regular washers as I would not trust them to support the load that we/you can put on them. Below you will see a pic of some of the "fabbed" washers the Jerry sends with his sliders. I have also included a link to his install instructions for 2nd gens. I understand that you have a 3rd gen but 90% of the information should carry over. Also found in the instructions is info on your "little black box". You will need to remove it and reinstall that piece. Not sure how the RCI sliders are setup but this will likely require a little fab work on your end. Let us know if you have more questions as we are all here to help.

Thanks Warren, I have a bunch of spare parts, mainly computer chair arm brackets and such, they are 1/4" steel. My portable bandsaw / recip can make some beefier washers with those pieces.

I even re purposed some arm mounts into quick fist holders for an axe and shovel, they work great.

I'm not the best at welding, but have a pretty solid welder (Hobart MP210 I think it's called, I ran 240 for it, but it can run on 120 also). I'm mainly a woodworker, but the fab skills are universal in the sense of measurements, planning, and execution.

Thanks for the picture, I think I will make some washers like that to get some larger surface area to bite to.

I doubled up on washers. I guess it would be a good idea to weld the washers together?

The washers are affecting tensile strength while the bolts themselves handle tensile and shear forces. I'd say the washers are fine, the bolt has to keep things pulled together and also held up from shearing under stress. The washer just gives the object a larger area to grab, therefore reducing stress on the point of impact.

I can't wait until I can fall asleep in my rocker, on my porch.

I was born to be old.

So I sent my coils to ICON for a rebuild and finally last night they sent one back. They are not sure where my other one is haha. So they said I might be getting one brand new one.

So will one coil be stiffer than the other since it's new?
