I liked satellite when I had it in the truck but I just couldn't justify the cost of it when I can run Pandora and since Sprint has unlimited data I just use it. Plus my wife's work pays for her phone so we only have one cell phone to actually pay for

 

Morning everyone.

Took a fucking hour to get to work, when it normally takes 15 minutes. Jack knifed tractor trailer on the highway. Closed it down and only opened one lane recently. Drive through the next town over to get to work, but it was all backed up as well.

Spotify premium for me. It's worth the $10 a month to be able to listen to my playlists offline, since I listen to them in the truck. I don't want to be using data the whole time!

This is the problem I am having. 4000 songs all ripped directly from CD's and the categorizing is horrible.

 

Yeah, when the subscription runs out I'm not planning on renewing it, lol.

On my Android phone, I use Rocket Player. I like it better than most of the other apps I've tried.

On my computer, I just use Audacious.

I still buy CDs, just to rip them to the computer, and store them somewhere incase I need them.

I have over 10,000. I'm pretty anal with the ID3 tags so that doesn't happen.

 

I use MediaMonkey Pro, steep learning curve to figure out the desktop interface but it's got all the features I wanted and a pretty decent library management system.

 

Shit, I don't want to build a camera or computer here. I just wanna get my music playing.

 

Someone else suggested MediaMonkey, I downloaded the app and was instantly confused and it seems like I'd need an Asian to figure it out. There ya go Rebecca. I knew your time would come.

 

You guys were talking about throwing stuff in the bed yesterday, because of the weather...

I have a pellet stove, and need to make room in my garage for a ton of pellets. Thinking about throwing a few of those bags in the bed whenever it snows.

 

That'll probably ruin the bag, FYI. None of those bags seem to be completely waterproof, so I'm sure they'll end up soaking up water.

 

Good point. Not so much worried about the pellets being ruined. It would be more for the weight factor.

 

Shrug. Just pick up a couple of bags of tube sand. They cost about the same as a bag of pellets, if they get wet it'll just add more weight, and if you do get stuck you've got a couple of bags of instant traction in the bed.

 

Yeah I think I spent less than $10 for 180lbs of sand.

 

Not a bad idea. Never thought about that. Figured I'd just use a couple bad of pellets since I have them sitting around, waiting to be used.

Build an 'H' frame out of $10 of 2x4's to keep them centered between the wheel wells and you're good to go.

 

I do want to do that, but I haven't yet. It's harder to do when you don't have a garage or much in the way of power tools.

 

Hand saw, hammer.

Barring that, if you go to Home Cheapo or Blowes and buy the lumber, they can make the cuts you'll need before you leave the store.
