    No... that was Goodyear

Firestone fucked up something else and never got a chance to fuck up the Tracer.

And Firestone rubber is great. I've got the Destinations on my 5 lug... I've put over 45k on the truck and the tires are not showing wear... and I don't know how many miles were on them when I bought it. Truck had 53k. I doubt they are the stock tires, but I dunno....

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
They were at 0 after the battery change or keep going to 0 every time you start the truck?

You might have a bad ground somewhere. Does your clock reset when the ODO does? Check the body ground off of the battery.

The clock does not reset...just the mileage A and B...
The battery terminals were retightened just this past weekend...as I was installing the Cruise Control handle on the steering wheel. Before and after was the same though...The resetting started after I had dash off running wires for new 12v power outlet, Satellite Radio, and/or for Wiring for Door Lock. Maybe the Instrument panel has a short??? Thanks

Sounds like you need to revisit the wiring. You may have tapped into something you shouldn't have.

Just installed cruise on mine and I noticed the trip reset after I reconnected the battery. Didn't think anything of it. Is there a coin battery behind the cluster that stores the trip data? I wouldn't think so but, hey you never know I'm new to tacomas.

No memory system. It's supposed to reset when you disconnect battery.

Thanks for the suggestion about Body Ground...I will definitely check that.

As for tapping into something when wiring the add-ons...I went to the Battery thru the firewall direct for the 12volt outlet fused at the Battery...

Also I used the Add-a-fuse for the Power Door Lock. But I could have as it is an older 2007 with lots of dust under the dash!!!!

    Thanks...More fun to come.
