My vote is for the front set dipped black. Rears I don't see as often so that does add to the cool points though... tough call

Agreed, I definitely like the black wheels on first gen tacos but I'm not sold on the design of those rears, the original wheels dipped black look good though.

I'd have to go with the rears....reminds me of the 80's taco's and looks better on your truck black.

It's not bad. Bolting the actual intake manifold/supercharger on is the easiest part.

True, actually the part I'm dreading most is the cost of shipping it out and getting it rebuilt, and my truck's down time in between. Any chance you rebuild superchargers?

I'm not in need of a rebuild anytime soon but just trying to have something in mind for when the time comes.

Hey for those who have light bars on the top of their trucks how did you route the wiring harness?

I don't have one, but from what I've seen most run it down alongside the windshield as to avoid drilling into the roof. They push it into the rubber windshield channel down the A pillar. I know there's a small gap there perfectly sized for wiring on the 2nd gens, hopefully that'll work on your 1st gen.

C'mon guys, drilling your roof isn't so bad ;)

    Actually, it's kind of terrifying.

I've cut and grinded so many things on my truck, just couldn't bring myself to punch a hole in the top.

Yeah it's a little nerve-racking but once you do it, its not so bad. Probably because you're committed by that point and have no choice lol.
