In addition to Wiley's post, I ran around town for a couple days with a 2.5lb loaded into mine. It worked fine. I wouldn't offroad with that much, but for you use I think it would be okay as well.

Here is my InReach Explorer mounted. Notice I was able to get my vent open fully...once fully open you cant adjust the flap like you can a little when it's in the normally installed position.

Liked the mount so much I just ordered a 2nd!

My apologies. Friday was the plan but I ran out of the material we make these from... thought I had more. But more is arriving on Wednesday. Adrienne, who does our shipping, sends out emails with an estimated ship date if things get delayed.

Just wanted to thank you for making such a cool mount. I'm using an OtterBox case holder that uses a pseudo Ram ball that I adapted to mimic the Ram base. Makes a solid, tidy holder for the phone. If I used the longer Ram connector, heck I could even use the phone camera like a GoPro.

    In the works.
Just finished installing mine. Took all of two minutes during my lunch break. So impressed with the quality that I went ahead and ordered the Entune radio knobs, too.

So on my radio (JBL tech package etc.) I notice when I adjust the volume via the knob I invariably hit the pre-set because the knob needs a base (like a top hat)to keep your finger from touching the glass.

Any ideas besides telling me to use the button on my steering wheel?

I'm intrigued by your Entune Premium knobs, but wonder whether they'll do anything to resolve my propensity to touch the glass with my finger inadvertently while adjusting the volume.

Is fat-fingered Rob the only one that has this issue?

I think I'm going to roll the dice and try a set. Understated bling.

I think it's just poor stock knob design. These should help you. But let me know if not, I'm not opposed to making a set down the line with a "fat-finger shield" :)

Nope! Try accidentally calling your boss at 11:30 at night because his speed dial is right next to the knob. I quickly learned to move the speed dials to the top. LOL!!

Hi @wileydavis, I'm looking to pick up just the mount. I have a phone cradle that looks like AMPS hole spacing but I don't have the bolts. Do you supply those or can you provide the size so I can pick a couple up at the hardware store?

Oh, and thanks for providing a TW discount!

We provide the two bolts for the dash mount and also bolts with the phone mount. keep in mind that the dash mount uses the AMPS diagonal dimension, so if you're trying to bolt something directly to the vent ring it will end up being at a 45 degree angle unless it was designed to be mounted diagonally l;ike the 2-hole ram base. The mounts are tapped for a 10-32 screw.

Is there something on the market as slick as this for the 2nd gen Toyotas? The Tech Deck is really nice but I prefer something smaller and less bulky.
