    Knew it. Immediatedly mine came into mind.
    Only picture that I currently have though. Teeth ripped off of the ring and pinion. Luckily I was only going 5 mph when it happened.

    Not sure which gears you have in yours, but if they are aftermaket, it is only the swapping and lashing of those. Cheaper than OEM. If front and read are both OEM gears, it would be cheaper to source a used 3rd from a salvage yard. Mine cost ~$450.

    What is really the kicker is the price of an fully assembled 3rd from Toyota. Roughly $3500. Or something ridiculous like that. Buying that axle means you're saving money. :D

    That price does not include the air locker or 4.56 gears - I need to do some more research on that.
    $2600 for a 9" rear that bolts on is pretty good though.

    I bought the rear 3rd & front clamshell locked and geared from another member in Ca several years ago. This is not a warrantee situation.

    I'd get a hold of Chase anyways. Fixing this wont hurt as bad as you think it will. A 60 will just be an anchor under there with ties that "small". I was dragging diff EVERYWHERE when I had 37's on my 60's. Just food for thought.
