    Also I used Lucas 75w90 syn. $14 a bottle.

    So, did you do the mod?

    It's cheap insurance against that one time when the breather lets muddy water in. The peace of mind I get KNOWING that I am not going to thrash my gears, bearings and seals, makes the mod a no-brainer in my book. Well worth the five or six bucks you are going to spend on it.

    thanks i think i did a good job .. .it took abt 10 hrs give or take ... but thats because i wanted to make sure i was doing a good job also it was 35 degrees

    I think I might do that this weekend or the next...Depends on how this Houston weather turns out.

    haha. That's exactly what I and rmbcrew did. I got the Toyota parts and he supplied the hoses and clamps.

    I did mine for less than ten bucks at ACE hardware. I didn't even order toyota specific parts. I just took out the existing little breather cap and replaced it with a male hose union with the same thread, had about 4 feet of fuel hose running up to my bed pocket where I put in the female hose union and screwed the stock cap thing back into that. Very easy!
