    RIGHT!?! :)

Low profile but not slim. I am certain I can do nearly anything with my bed still. I am not planning on an RTT. When I bought my Trac Rac PRO-2, (kayak racks), for Tacoma,-- it came with a truck tool box mount too.

20"-- which I am ok with. Had been thinking 12" due to short bed; but this will work great for camping/kayaking gear, basic tools and cargo net, etc. Had been using a Contico pro tuff bin-- which I still have plenty of room for if needed.

i've got a 12" wide on mine and perfectly fits the 48" hi lift in it...lol. could mount it elsewhere now that i have the shell, but keeps it out of the way. cut the thin parts off that go over the rail to make it a chest after getting the shell on.
