    I have the 450p and it has worked well for me. If you ever want to borrow it for a test drive let me know.

    I know it's super nonEAF. But for around a hundred bucks. Plus it serves other purposes... I have one almost identical, but black and decker brand. Takes up slightly more space than that box, but not by much...

    My OBA set up had a Viair 450C and 2.5 gallon tank. I was jealous of everyone with their CO2 tanks or even the ARB compressors which were all faster than my set up. Instead of scrapping everything, I just added another 450C to the set up and it's been decent. If I were to do it all over again I'd probably get the ARB compressor (probably dual version). CO2 tanks are the shit, but I wouldn't want to worry about it ever being empty on a trip, let alone having to carry it around on trips.

    Did the dual setup cut your time much?

    Seems like if one compressor yields a 4 minute fill time, adding a second only cut its it down to maybe 3 minutes.

    Ya I mean it's certainly not "cool" or anything, but for all intents and purposes it works pretty damn well. And then you have a nice portable air compressor for around the home use.

    Plus there's a million options in that size range, I just quick google searched that one because it looked like mine. I think I paid $80 maybe. And it's lasted 6 years so far...

    -2 EAF points though. Might have to get a $750 hand forged hatchet with woven beaverdick handle to offset...

    Yea it helped a good amount. But anyone that is starting from nothing, should really consider the ARB compressor or CO2 tank. Or even Anthony's set up.

    Looks like the CKMTA12 is the way to go then. Puts out 3x the CFM's as my Viair 300P. And like @EDDO 's pump, the thing gets hot as shit after filling 4 tires from 15 - 16 psi to 36. If filling up is easy and takes less time, I'm more likely to air down on easier trails. I drove some logging roads the other week at street pressure. Beat the shit out of me, which means it's causing more wear and tear on the truck. So paying more for a faster compressor will save money in the long run.

    This is the circuitous way I justify expensive purchases... ;)

    @TinkyWinky was selling CKMTA12s for $450 shipped, I think. Had 10 available.
