First off - thanks for the all the info. I ordered my truck (OR double cab short bed MT) back in October. It's supposed to get here around 12/18. This is the third vehicle from the dealer in the last 4 years. Said they'll sell me the truck at $500 over invoice which they quoted as $35,066. So now I gotta know...

It's not even an Off-Road. It's an SR5 that they slapped a TRD Off-Road sticker on.

They make SR5's with the Off Road Package. Basically a wheel and tire package.

 

hmm...guess you can't exactly get them for false advertising on that one then.

Oh, it's definitely a bait and switch by the dealer, but they have the ol' disclaimer to cover their ass. Most people don't know the difference, they just want the black rims.
