Anybody here bought the Tacoma TRD Pro Grille from or near Waterloo, Ontario? My daughter's BF is working there and I told him to inquire about the grille at the dealerships near his place. I want one for Christmas when he comes back to Alberta. Thanks in advance.

What about just getting one here in Alberta. Tacoma town was selling them online at good prices and good reviews. I picked one up from a dealer in Edmonton took about two weeks to arrive. Most prices were around $400-425 plus tax.

Wait... how did I not know this. So you're telling me you put the truck in first gear, push "clutch start cancel" then start the truck and it just starts rolling with out using the clutch?? hahah holy fuck I gotta try that tomorrow

Try not to do it on dry flat pavement....make sure you at least find a hill so that it has some resistance....at least that is what I was told from Toyota Training.

If you are trying to get the TSB done, from what I understand the dealer submits a complaint to Toyota that you don't like how it shifts and they send them the codes to change it. It won't show up as a recall because it isn't something that "needs" to be done.

Do you need to know, or care?
Had it done a few weeks ago and my R to D delay is completely gone. Can't say it was the Rev 1 update, service order only said ECU Updated.

Dropping it off at dealer today, I can ask them if they know. Had rodent chew on a wiring harness throwing on the Check Engine and Trac Off lights. They found the problem on Monday, insurance agent is stopping by to take pictures and authorize the repair. $700, my deductible is $500, early Christmas present has arrived.

I got this exact same explanation from my dealer. In all honestly, some of the shift changes were better, but some are worst. Overall (sound like a broken record), these new gen trucks are NOT for me.

I called to have it done. The tech advisor told me they don't bother with that stuff, they hook up the computer and if there's an update available, it will tell them.

I understand about the clutch start cancel (they've had this since 1989 and my 1990 and my 03 both had it) but I thought the smart key was for the door locks, not just the push button. I was thinking I'd still get the touch door handles and it would unlock itself. I don't see why they didn't do this for the manual.

I had the original tsb done a couple months ago. It def helped but its still searching for gears a lil to often and the new tsb covers this.
I just wanna know if the Rev 1 is released in canada yet.
