No build thread yet. I made my own shackle flip. Rear flexes awesome. @HolyHandGrenade has the B110s with a flip and he flexes damn well.

    I'm very happy with the B 110's
Like 5 years with that setup.

Yes - I have the original ATO shackle flip designed by the founder before he sold out to 4xinnovatons.
Kevin made a dozen or so of them then stopped production due to liability fears.
It is not adjustable when mounting to the frame like many of the other styles now available.
It is designed to work specifically with the OEM leave pack or with a dakar pack
That's one of the first suspension modifications that I did

No issues with the B110's extending beyond the max shock extension length?
With my OME Dakar leaf pack + OME 29 XL AAL, I seem to have maxed out my B110's.
I'm afraid that the shackle flip may go beyond the shock full extension length

I have the 7 leaf Dakars. 5 + 2 overloads. By measuring and talking with the designer of the flip kit, @ARCHIVE , I should be good.

Honestly though, I got tired of flexing it and measuring it... I'm going to look at it again if and when something fails

He doesn't have the 29XL AAL. Not sure of that's the cause of my full extension and that he doesn't have the same problem.

Why do you think you need that extra leaf anyway? Aren't the 7 leafs sufficient?will eliminating it solve your problem?

The extra AAL leaf was to provide additional suspension compliance and improve the droop. Didn't need the 2nd Overload because I don't routinely carry heavy loads.

Adding the shackle flip, which also does the similar thing, just a different way of doing it. With BOTH, now it's gonna go beyond the max extension of the B110's.

That's just a theory of mine, of course.

Check out pic below. Already at max extension 27.25" with Dakars + 29XL.

Where do think the extension will be after adding the shackle flip to this setup?

Theoretically, the shock rod would pull out of the shock body.

Shock relocate yeah! Then I would need to change out my 1 month old B110 Bilsteins that replaced my 3 month old 5100 Bilsteins with a longer quadruple priced Icon or King.
