Level kit did not level

Hi, new to all this but to get to the point I had a decent rake and wanted to get rid of it so I purchased some rough country 2 inch strut spacers and now the front is about a half inch higher than the rear. I purchased the truck used and it has 2 inch block under the leaf Springs. measure before installing the kit and it was right around a 2 inch difference from front to back so I figure it would be fine.
just looking for anyone's thoughts on an easy way to fix the lean.

 

Honestly I would reccomend getting rid of all blocks and spacers and doing a suspension lift.. you'd be able to adjust as needed with good coilovers. Not sure what your budget is but I always say that as a recommendation. Welcome to the forum by the way and I'm sure you'll get some good help from these guys who know more about leveling.

Thanks. I've got tight budget for awhile so I'm leaning towards blocks or I'd spend the money and do it right. I'm afraid I'll put 3 inch blocks on and I'll have the front rake again. thanks for your input

 

My only guess would be the spacers on top of the stock coilovers put some extra preload on the spring possibly bumping it a little over 2 inches.

 

Would you have any idea if someone makes a 2 1/2 inch block?

That's what I'm not sure about. But possibly. I mean the front end of trucks will lower over time. When I bought mine I had rake from the oem shocks in the front being sagged out. (They had 122,000 miles on them when I took them off) I'm just not sure about how long it would take. I haven't heard of 2 1/2 inch blocks but I know they have 2 1/2 inch spacers for the front. So they should have some out there.

okay today I drove the truck and didn't notice something until I hit about 65 but it started to shimmy a bit couldnt feel it in the steering wheel much but at my feet and my seat I could quite a bit. the alignment was very close to spec and nothing feels lose, could this me caused by the strut spacers?

 

I'm not sure.. my other Tacoma has a 6" lift but suspension lift and it does that too. It feels more in the rear like its swaying back and forth on the freeway. Something I've just kinda got used to.

 

Spacer kits will destroy your ball joints.

 

Will the 1/2 inch toytec spacer put to much stress on the ball joints also?

 

I don't believe a 1/2 spacer would, but it also wouldn't be that noticeable of a lift either.

 

Well the issue I'm having is the 2 inch rough country spacer raised the front an inch higher than the back so I'm hoping this may do the job

 

Maybe I'm reading this wrong, but your truck has a 2" rear block installed and you are still nose high after a 2" levelling kit?

This would make sense for a stock rear end, but not for one with a 2" block.

 

Yea that's correct, it's 39 inches in the front and 38 in the back. Those measurements are after the spacer.
