That's a second gen? And I just mean the bed setup in general.

But if I wanted a pavement pounder I wouldn't hesitate to drop a truck.

Wow im more drunk than I thought.. I looked at the center of the bumper and saw the angles and for some reason thought it was a turd gen
Kinda hard to see the bed setup.. Is it just a flatbed?

Hey @Sacrifice what type of recovery and camping gear do you have. looks like you have a great setup with the tent.

also on the front axle is that the 05+ super 60 or a regular superduty 60

    Thanks bud

Oh yea, more of a flatbed style.
Recovery wise I am just running a Smitty winch in the front bumper and I have a short tow strap with some drings. Also a smittybilt recovery receiver. I haven't been out by myself yet so haven't had the need to get snatch blocks. @ChandlerDOOM and I are usually together when we make dumb decisions.

Im really enjoying the tent on the roof, makes it super easy to pack up stuff in the bed and have moto trips wherever I want. Just bring my cast iron and Coleman stove, about all the camping gear I have. Pretty simple.

It's just a regular superduty 60. The main difference is the ring gears but once you swap gear ratios you end up with the regular 60 sizing. I have a bunch of info saved on my laptop if you're interested about differences. A regular 60 is going to be plenty for our trucks.

sweet. I usually wheel with others as well plus @Rattletrap66 is my recovery unit.

The super 60 found in 05 and up thought had the bigger spindles plus had a 1550 u joint. Plus the unit bearings are a different size.

Well bigger knuckle for wording. Last I read there weren't any aftermarket options out for 1550 joints either unlike the 1480. Even the 1480 is plenty strong and if I remember correctly there is still the option of Rockwell joints. I think the unit bearings are the same. I'd have to pull up my docs for a refresher though

Gotchya. I wouldn't worry about trying to find a super 60. The 05+ is already stronger than the 99-04 which is what Currie and all other aftermarket axles are based off of.
