Basically stock. OME 882s, HD Dakars and nitrochrgers, TG front bumper, custom rear bumper, 4Xinnovations sliders, RAT skids, Softopper, 255/85/16 ST MAXX's on 16" steelies, 1" B.O.R.A. wheel spacers Scangaugae II, deck plate mod, grey wire mod,ECGS bushing, diff breather relocation, alarm mod, defrost w/o compressor mod, de-badged, sockmonkey beside decals.
i think it would look awesome with black wheels. im not a huge fan of the 01-04 stock wheels though. i opted to get a set of 2nd gen sport wheel and had the powder coated black(pics are in my gallery). either way it will look good so go for it!

I painted mine, and I like they way they came out.

Just be sure to prep really well and use a primer and then paint.

Prime and paint...cost $25 and can be touched up easier than powder coating.

I painted my rims about a month ago, They have seen lots of road time and no scratches or chips.

I just cleaned them then wed sanded... then painted them black. I didnt even put a primer down. Only places that the paint is coming of is the surrounding areas around the lugs. And you cant see them unless your close up and really looking for them.

That's a hell of a lot cheaper than getting them re-powder coated.

I really like the sounds of 25 dollars, I hope it comes out well. I don't want it to turn out greyish when i want a solid black

What do you mean by gray?

Here is what I did and they are a very deep dull black.

    List:
    Steel wool
2 cans self etching primer from dulipcolor
3 can flat black from Krylon
    Rubbing alcohol
Blue shop towels ***don't use anything else, because these are lint free***

    Step 1
Clean the wheels and and mask off
***really clean them well, with some soap and water***

    Step 2
Use the steel wool and scuff every inch of the area you are painting, then scuff it again.

    Step 3
Blow all the dust off them from scuffing them off with condensed air or compressor.

    Step 4
Wipe the wheel down with a blue paper towel soaked in rubbing alcohol

    Step 5
Prime the wheels with 2 coats, letting them dry for 15 between each coating

    Step 6
Paint the wheel with 3 coats letting them dry for 15-20 between each area

    Step 7 (optional)
Let the wheels dry over night before putting them back on

I also marked what wheel and tire came from what side of the truck i.e. DR (driver rear), PF (passenger front) and so on.

I did on one wheel and then I couldn't get it off so I just painted it. But later on it flew off.

I just scuffed up the weights and prime/painted them too. So I wouldn't take them off.
