I love my kershaw

 

I have some etchant if you want to try it.

Radio Shack carries it for a few bucks, it's used on circuit boards. Disassemble the knife and coat the cutting edge with tape or with paint (nail polish works fine). Then put it in the etchant and let it marinate. It can be grey or black depending on how long (dark) you let it sit.

Super easy to do.

 

That sounds like way to much work. I'm not unhappy with any of the knives I have, I'm just commenting on the color change of the same model.

Also great news, my knife fell out of my pocket at work a week ago, and dude at work sharpened it for me lol

But if you like the silver then fuck it.

 

So, the camera really made the 'silver' look silver. It's actually more of a dark matte grey.

JB weld and beer, that's all you need. For real it depends how nicely you want the job done, if you've never done anything close to that amount of fab than I would pay a professional or buy an older Toy for a wheeler. Sometimes me thinks I should have done the latter, I don't regret it, I'm still chasing gremlins to get it 100% and I had one of the cleanest around do mine.

 

Job got rained out. Been doing paperwork in the office since 4am, (I hate going into the office). I am officially done working for the day!
