not as much as a custom deaver or alcan.
chevys are great for most builds but if you want to have a #EAF setup and flex too, they wont be optimal. You'll overload them very easily with rack, RTT, recovery gear, food/water, fuel, swingout&tires, etc..

Lol EAF is lame, Good thing about Chevys is you can leave the overload in and have the payload of a 1/2 or 3/4 ton truck. Highly doubt you'll overload them going #EAF Brah

not at all, I don't have an #EAF version because like I said, it is lame. So what is your payload number for your EAF rig?

Lol why is it "Lame" to use our trucks to adventure and get out there? isn't that why we buy them?

Also, i'm on Dakars w overload right now. A 63 swap wouldnt work well on my rig right now anyways, waiting until I do a shackle flip which would ruin the geometry of my Dakars and necessitate a longer pack - like a chevy or a more badass [read: custom] pack from deaver/alcan. A custom pack will always cycle and handle load better than some retrofit, old chevy pack.

No numbers once again. It is lame because we have been doing that with our trucks well before #EAF came about, don't get so upset about it.

The chevy swap seem to be working great for @dakotasyota and his EAF lifestyle

 not upset one bit, bud!

I could google the payload capacity for Dakars w the overload/aal in it, but you could too, since you're so torn up about these "numbers"

way to get butthurt over a hashtag, bro

Not talking about your Dakars, w/ overload. We were talking about your custom pack.

I don't have a custom pack, maybe ask someone who does. My build hasn't necessitated that yet.

good talk, reminding me why i don't live year-round in florida.
