Both having craw control with a rear electronic diff lockers, would it be an advantage to have an front diff electronic locker? Would it interfere with the craw control system ?

I would say yes because mts and crawl control use braking on individual wheels to gain traction. Lockers make both wheels move the same speed. I would go ARB air locker in the front and not use crawl control or mts when it is activated. That way you could also have an on board air compressor to air down and air up during wheeling.

I've never had a need for front lockers myself but Ronny Dahl disagrees with you and with my experience with lockers I can't see how they would snap CV's if you are driving in a controlled manner. No reason anything should break using both lockers but you would have to be in some pretty crazy stuff.

Have a lot of people been putting front lockers on? I've been curious about it but haven't done much research into it.

If you Off-road, it's always better to have front and rear lockers vs just the rear. With both front and rear lockers, you basically have a true 4wd ( all 4 tires spinning together)

Exactly, most likely the answer is no, most don't.

    Bingo...

Among other things, IE tie rods...

If you are in a instance where you need a front locker on a IFS driving in a controlled manner is A) tough and B) hard on something that is designed to work independently. There is a reason you can only count on 1 hand the number of factory vehicles that have had a IFS locker, not to mention it is even rare for a IRS vehicle to have a locker because of the potential issues. I will just leave this right here...

This is an incomplete sentence, I have no idea what you are trying to say.

I can almost count on 1 hand how many vehicles have factory rear lockers...

1000's of people have front lockers on IFS's without issues..it's not a big deal.

I have a front ARB in my TRD OR. No, it's not really needed, but it's nice to have for slow speed rock crawling. I live on the East coast, so we have more rocks than open desert and I use the front locker at least once or twice every time I go out.

I just meant that we don't have many open high-speed areas out here, where you wouldn't really use a front locker.

I had a lsd in my Jeep with a full locker up front. Lockers in the rear don't have much weight on top of them and need weight transfer to load the tires for full traction. Front lockers have the motor on top to weight the tires.

In a perfect world both ends would be locked. But if I had only one I am in favor of front. Now the comments about IFS and CV's breaking while locked are outside of my experience so I can't comment on this.

I suppose that depends on what type of wheeling you do. I find that I often use my lockers on steep rocky climbs. When driving uphill, weight gets transferred to the rear.

Overall I like a selectable locker on each end. There's no downside other than cost.

It can be. But not anywhere as slippery as east coast stone and root that is sweating away under the canopy, covered in condensation and whatever green fucking slime it is that grows out here. This place is bizarre.

A factory front locker would be nice. Kinda like crawl control...or a 4x4 vehicle, I rarely even need to use 4x4 on my truck when I go out to ranches, but its nice to know I have it in case I ever do need it.

    Not much stock left.
Well, I’m certainly glad I had an ARB front air locker this weekend. Lost my rear e-locker for some unknown reason at this point. I wanted try my Crawl Control for the hell of it and got all kinds of malfunction errors on my dash.

The front locker was nice to have in a pinch. Plus it’s not controlled by the on board computer. Press button on Swithch Pro, send air to locker, crawl forward, hit button to release air and over obstacle.

Slow and slower is the key and keep the wheels straight.
