It is on there to prevent body roll, but it is s truck not a race car. It really makes your truck ride like a lumber wagon, and limits wheel travel especially if you are lifted.

Aren't you parked at a raceway in your photo? I was just saying we had a very similar picture.

Oh ok thanks. I didn't realize that. I'm lifted but not a real lift. I have the "almost" 3" baja suspension and AAL.

I would of thought removing a stab bar was a bad thing to do. So thanks for the 411

Lots of bolt on chrome stuff
I don't have a sway bar in mine and I did not notice much difference in handling. Better articulation for sure though. I have 886 coils so the stiffer suspension might be helping with body roll.

I've tried mine both ways, and I keep it in for daily driving and pull it out once a month when I'll do some more serious wheeling.

it really depends on how you use your truck as well as suspension and tires. I have kings front and rear, with 600# coils and dakars, no armor (working on that), and no cap (also working on that). I run 265/70/17 cooper at3's for normal road use and 255/85/16 bfg km2's for off road. I can tell a difference in how the truck handles just by swapping my tires, which is exacerbated by removing the sway bar

under normal driving there's really not much of a difference, but if you tow or haul, need to make an evasive maneuver, hit a bumpy patch on the interstate, or take turns too fast you'll definitely know its missing!

its entirely up to you whether you take it out or leave it in. there are benefits to both sides. if your truck never leaves the pavement, taking it out will gain you nothing. if you wheel it often, taking it out will get you more traction in tough areas. its pretty easy to take on and off so you can always reverse it if you don't like it

hey tw I have successfully installed the oem 13 headlight switch with the drl off option . the 05-12 are missing 1 white wire. I had bought a 13 steering column with wheel and everything was plug and play except the white wire wasn't there. so I ran a extension wire from the switch to the drl harness. I cut the green with red stripe wire and deleted it out of the white plug. I was going to just put in a plain jane switch but I wanted it to look more factory. thought I would share this for those who are interested.[/QUOTE]
