When I did the 5x5 I did percentages but now I find myself trying to max everyday and then hittting like 4x4 or a bunch of sets of 2 at a random weight close to my max...

Instagram brahs, I dropped my already cracked phone at work yesterday and it's dead. I'm trying to find a loaner until my 7 Plus gets here.....NEXT FUCKING FRIDAY!

    Also, chestntris last night:

flat bench: 135x10, 225x12, 315x2, 225x6 (there was no one I trusted to spot me, so I didn't go over 315...it was kind of stupid of me to even rep 315 twice lol. Death is an excellent motivator.
    incline db press: 4 sets
    cable crossovers: 4 sets
    pushups: 4 sets to failure

    close grip bench: 3 sets
    skull crushers: 3 sets
single arm cable pushdown: dropsets to failure

Never have...too much work. I generally know what my max is on each lift, so I know how to work up to it the way I like to.

I usually use the percentages as a guideline, but we all can have good days and bad days. So, on bad days I might struggle to hit the percentage. On good days, I might bump it up, do more reps, or a couple more sets. I'm with Zach. All in how I feel and what I like to do....which is usually lift as heavy as possible haha. But yes, I do use one as a flexible guideline.

Deadlifted 445 last night. I got to the lockout position, but my grip started giving because I'm not a bitch and don't use wrist straps. I know I could've locked out because it went up super easy. Gonna invest in some chalk. I tried squatting, but I've got some weird ass pain in my right knee and even squatting 135 hurts. Assuming my squat is still around 365, my total big 3 is sitting at around 1140 right now with a 445 dead, 330 bench and 365 squat.

Yes, why sacrifice getting a lift if you could? It's not like it's a comp lol. Besides, 445...pfft. haha you know I'm jk.

I used to think like that, too, but I can still lift the same amount of weight, regardless of whether or not I use straps. Same goes for dumbbell/barbell shrugs. The grip issue comes in from holding the weight for a long period of time. I want a strong grip, so I might as well kill 2 birds with 1 stone.

Bi's and tris and forearms tonight. Middle of a set and caught another cramp in my left tricep. I can tell you this shit is getting old constantly getting cramps specifically in that tricep. I'm not sure if it is from the surgery or what but damn. Gonna go in the morning and do some fasted cardio. I've gotta get this shit show down. but man did I put in some good size back in my shoulder and chest

Hey guys.... Sad to say but feels like I'm starting back at zero again.
After some weird, unforeseen injuries that are still healing I'm having to really appreciate what and where i was before.

    Hope everyone is doing well.
