As far as headlights, hit up @LSC15 for some nice retro's
the biggest thing is just search around, go to the GROUP BUYS section and look for deals on a lot of things. This site will help "him" (& you) spend 5-10k in no time :D

All you have to do is PM @tcBob for a TW sticker. Don't send it and say "can I have a sticker?" or "how much for a sticker?" They're free for us, Bob pays for all of it and it isn't cheap, the cost of postage alone mail 1 decal is just shy of $1, not including the cost of the XL envelopes needed to send them, so I'd assume that's why he tends to send 2-3 decals in each envelope. Imagine how many people ask for decals, and how many PMs they send, and the out of pocket cost to buy the decals, buy the envelopes, postage for them, and then time spent to ship them off in large batches. I've done it and think I've sent out or given out 150 decals in the last year, and it's a pain in the ass even with that comparatively small amount. I'd mail batches of 12-20 and it was a slog every time.

Send a PM with your full name and full mailing address and ask for a decal. If you've been waiting a long time, PM him with the same info as a reminder. He'll get to you and get you taken care of, but there'll be a wait, understandably so.

Some get them quick and some don't, not sure why, but it's a hard thing to juggle with everything else that life commands from Bob, I'm sure. Last I'd heard, he was entertaining some kind of automated system for decal requests, though I haven't heard of it since.

Hope this helps a little, even if for insight.

Guess il pm him again. I have a couple times already in the past put didnt want to be a bother so i just left it.

Not sure why this isnt like a couple other forums im on where we can pay for a vip membership to help the site out and allows for more benefits and activities. You get recognition for being a vip on the site and receive some merch aswell. Like a snowmobile forum im on will use the funds to rent out some lodges on some weekends for meet ups.

Id gladly pay a fee to help out such a great site!

Not sure either, but I dig it as is. Every forum I've been on with a paid member option always turned into a shit show. :anonymous:

Use a subject like "decal reminder" or similar. He's great about handling things, it's just a lot of work.

He's neck deep in the mahaloTaco snorkel theft problem so he's likely busier now than usual.

2 years was just the time ive been here. i only contacted about it last summer and looking at it now i was only asking about them and didn't include my address.

Definitely understand that hes probably getting loads of pms and gotta pick through the sticker requests out of them and then ship each one.

In all of the instances (3-4) paid members were granted special avatar flair, user titles, and/or other things that differentiated them from a standard, no pay member. There were also separate forum areas for supporting (paid) members only, and they always got to the point where the forum essentially split into two versions of the same thing, sometimes rather quickly. The tiered memberships created a hierarchy where the paid members were better people and/or content contributors and unpaid members were all idiot noobs, regardless of join date, content, etc,.

Certainly could be the crowds, though prior to monetizing the memberships the mood was absolutely jam packed with info and help, legit help. No razzing, no ball busting, all friendly and super efficient info sharing. Once there became a difference in dick length and social status between a paid annual supporter/lifetime supporter and the average Joe who was there for info and not for tossing money around, it turned to shit. Wasn't the expense of it, supporting memberships were cheap. It was just the "look at me" tendencies and the attitudes that followed.

Really focused on one particular forum for the above info, but it was highly active and had a large membership. The site owner had a separate forum store and supporting members got a discount from there as well. As mentioned, this particular site owner wanted cash flow and that steered the forum changes.

Primarily going for looks then the occasional offroad performance. I'm sure once he starts putting money into it there will be more ideas.

Anybody have thoughts on seat covers vs. reupholstery? The seats don't have any rips or tears (surprisingly) but they're 18 years old.
