Got my intake today and slapped it on, had the black plastic ones on my past tacomas so I went with a chrome one this time... Plus everyone knows chrome gets you dome. Anyways on a real note here anyone with a trd pro check where your muffler bolts onto your exhaust. The flange on my muffler side is bowed in where the bolts go in causing a small gap in the middle on the top an bottom and it was leaking right around there, I noticed some water dripping down from there that's how I found it. Pulled it off an put some copper silicone on now she's good to go.

Also I see there is some controversy about age here..... I'm only 21 and have had two 06 tacomas over the years sold them an bought a Duramax dumped all my money into that for a few years building it to run 1/4 mile, an now I bought my pro. As long as you can manage your money and have a steady job it's all good. I'm a diesel tech most of time but I'll also bounce around an do fiber optic work with my uncle when it's available.

Glad there are alot of younger guys with success. But any of you young guys rocking kids?

Just wait......takes alot more to afford these toys with little ones running around and more bills. Lets just say I make a "Tacoma" payment each week for daycare.

^ Nice. Any particular reason you went with the BAMF? I like the tubular designs better, but the RCI looks to be more functional with Rotopaks, High lift attachments etc..

I was 18 when I bought my first truck, a 1980 GMC 4X4, bought a Z28 Camaro at 20, and my first Tacoma at 21. I starting working with my dad at 10 (gopher, cleanup), was working 4 jobs at 20 (carpenter, lifeguard, farm worker and bouncer). I saved my money and spent it wisely. Nothing saying you can't buy a Tacoma at an early age, congratulations to those of you who can.
