Appreciate the responses guys. Yeah I finally got in touch with the CCW lady for Marin County. Super nice, but as I already figured, my current permit wont "transfer" over, and I have to restart the application process with their department. Have a sneaky suspicion I wont qualify for one in Marin, but worth a shot I suppose.

Sweet man, Thanks! I feel like its a long shot to get one, but worth it in my opinion if there is a way to get one.

Such bullshit. My god. Two people in the whole county of San Francisco?!?! Have any of you guys tried to get a permit? Or already have one around the greater Bay Area? I wonder if people around that area just don't care much for guns and/or permits in general.

Outside of the row of counties south of Sonoma County to Santa Clara and beyond, it's difficult. Each county north of me in Sonoma, they give them away. The further north you go the easier it is to get. I have a customer in Covelo and they were pretty much handed permits up there.

Old news for us on this side of 37.

So glad I moved one state over. My CCWs are good for over 30 states. This county bullshit blows my mind.

That's crazy how "black and white" each county can be. Sucks for sure.... Love the bay though, and looking forward to living in Tiburon for a few years.

    Tiburon is cool.

Waypoint Pizza has pretty decent slices and the restaurant next door to them is good and clean.

I concur. When I lived in Iowa it was the same thing. As long as you can prove you can handle having a CCW, you get the privilege of carrying pretty much anywhere you want.

The other place is called Guaymas, kept confusing it with Guayaki.. anyway, good food there also.

There was another bakery down the little alley called a street there that both of those shops are located at and I think it's since changed names/hands.. but it's in the far corner where the bend in the road is (right turn). It has an upstairs area with windows. If the upstairs windows are still left open during the day, don't ever eat there.

Actually looks like the former bakery is called Luna Blu now, and is an italian food place with good reviews.

I'd eat there, but I'd still be wary if the upstairs windows were open.

LOL. Yeah Ill watch for those open windows. Ill probably be trying every joint in town (with decent reviews) by the beginning of next year. Love trying new shit. My new apartment doesn't overlook the water unfortunately, but is right by the Old St Hillary's preserve and church on the hill. Looking forward to being within walking distance of downtown and still have an area to hike with my dog and such.

Very walkable area and lot of dogs. Sausalito is close by and offers a good place to hang out also.. I would avoid the Bridgeway Cafe. ;)

Mill Valley has a lot of good restaurants also.
