I'm a day late on the Kershaw knife love, but here's mine. It's the "Scrambler" in the cryo coating. It's my everyday knife and my work piece.

I love it. Have had onions, a few leeks and the Scrambler and I am super stoked on the quality and price. I get a smoking deal through Promotive too.
Sure there are better "quality" knives out there, but I tend to use my knife as a tool, and I actually use them. No fucking way i'd do that with a $2-300 knife!

My mom actually lives in Mill Valley. Been there a few times. There is a good Italian place down there that I like...Piazza D'Angelo Ristorante is the name. Equator Coffee on the corner is awesome as well. Cant stand some of the "Better than you" a-holes I come across every once in awhile down there, but awesome otherwise.

Just heard back from one of my cop friends. Former Marin and Sonoma County LEO. His first words were: Liberal Cocksuckers. Good luck getting a CCW there. Naturally, he says you need to go see the sheriff. Which we already knew.

Yea fortunately my county is super pro carry so for me the permit was easy to obtain. We are so pro carry I have a close friend who got his at 19.

If you read the permit application the first question is are you at least 18 years of age.

Also tip for anyone that may not know Nevada is back to recognizing Arizona ccw permits and Arizona will allow California residents with a valid ccw to apply for an out of state ccw.

So with the two ccws combined you can carry in most of the western U.S minus Oregon and Washington but those are also obtainable

What county are you in? Im in El Dorado County and they are pretty lax on the permits too. Didnt take me very long to obtain the permit after my inital application. I always hear stories about guys in Sac county waiting like a year or two before being accepted. Something crazy. Im not a super "pro carry or GTFO" type of guy, but especially for the times when I am out camping or hiking/fishing out here in the woods, its nice knowing I have a form of protection if SHTF.

That is too bad. I guess I cant say im surprised though. I always knew that area wasn't very keen of firearms and carrying permits, but I guess I never thought about it twice since I never pictured myself moving out that way. Thanks again for checking with your buddy for me..... and yeah the lady I spoke with at the Marin County Sheriffs department this afternoon confirmed having to talk with the undersheriff after the intital application is accepted. What I am also concerned about, is them taking my cash for the application, but denying me anyways. Ill have to follow back up with them in a few weeks anyways just to see exactly how they do it.

Yea I like it I'm out of the city limits it's nice and peaceful. Company is looking to expand into Nevada in the next few years however and I'm on the list as a volunteer to hop over when we do.
