This is what inspired mine. I really like this color with black wheels.

Picked it up on Monday, topper put on Tuesday, been enjoying it ever since! The 6MT in these is a much shorter throw than the 2nd gens, smoother power, traction control works well in the snow without feeling unnatural, the suspension rides like a dream... I could go on and on! Counting myself lucky with the wait others are having. Hoping that everyone finds theirs soon!IMG_3569.jpg IMG_3570.jpg IMG_3574.jpg

I'm no longer waiting for the PRO.

I placed my order for TRD OR 6 M/T yesterday. I was not and still not convinced I would receive my Pro before the end of March because i'm on a wait list along with a few of you at Longo. I did find a dealer in LV that said he had two spots left for an allocation and instead of the usual 5K markup, he would only do 3K. No, thank you.

Aaaaaannnyways.. I reached out to my car broker (yea, they're a thing). He negotiates on my behalf and I never have to speak or step foot into a dealer along with a pretty killer deal that probably can't be matched by anyone negotiating on their own.

For the few of you on the wait list at Longo, my broker called me back today to let me know he inquired about the PRO out of curiosity since we talked about it the day before and my suspicion that I would not get my car in the promised time of end of February. His contact at Longo said they probably won't see another pro for 4 - 6 months. So if you have the time, wait it out. With my situation, I can't afford that time because my lease is coming up and I don't have a back up car.

Either way it's a Taco and it's sort of a relief on how much cheaper it is lol

Glad to see that everything worked out in the end.

Yeah, I also haven't gotten an update from my salesperson at Longo about my Pro. If he doesn't reply tomorrow I'm blowing up his phone over the weekend.

And yeah, waiting is still no issue for me. But I will admit, if March/April rolls around and Longo still doesn't have my Pro, I'm going to search dealer lots all across the country.

    I can afford Gas.
Might I suggest the CarsGuru app. I found mine the weekend I went looking for it. My chore was just fighting the price.

Currently CarsGuru says there is one at Larry Miller Corona and Anaheim 1 ea. Toyota of Orange, Claremont Toyota and Glendale. http://tinyurl.com/jrlyldy

When I got mine, I visited Orange and Glendale. I wonder they are mad I walked out of their showroom now?

Don't bother if you're looking for a M/T they don't exist within the 500 mile limit in any color.

Doesn't hurt to search every day though haha

I know about the Pro in Corona, the dealer is charging a markup on it. And it's also the wrong color and transmission haha.

I want a Cement 6MT or nothing at all, nothing at all, nothing at all!

First, congrats and you will make your man smile ear to ear. I wanted this model so bad but didn't know how long the wait will be and I needed a truck this summer. So, I settled for a Off-road with all the fixings. Do I regret purchasing this $40,000+ non-Pro Taco? Not one bit. Probably has same capabilities less few aesthetics like the black grill, hood, Rigid fog lights, TRD skid plate, badging, emblem seats, TRD shift knob, better performance wheels and suspension set-up. With dealer mark-up, it's crazy to pay $50,000+ for this mid-sized truck.

I am planning to upgrade my lift/suspension and wheels to equal or better to Pro so can't justify the cost of this truck compared to OR.

Nevertheless, she is beaut in white!

I too was struggling to find a Pro. Cars.com was showing me trucks in Seattle and mid-Oregon. Then, just like that, they were gone. However, a couple weeks later, I started searching individual dealers in my area. Sure enough, there was a super white in transit. Went down to the dealer the next day, put a deposit down and 2 weeks later she was mine.

Moral of story, search the dealer websites and don't rely on aggregator sites like cars.com. There might be a Pro right under your nose!

    @venezian

Uhhh I was just informed that my TRD Pro at Longo might come in at the end of December. And to be frank, I set up my finances to buy a new car for Feb/March 2017. I might not be in a position to buy it if it does come in. Just letting you know that there might be a possibility to get a Pro in your area.

    I expected a 3 month wait, this was 1 month max. o_Oo_Oo_O
