I know you haven't got much roof to work with on a single cab but i think it might look funny extending halfway out in the pan like that. plus you wont be able to fit an atv or sled in anymore.

Yeah I was wanting to have rear 4 door jeep roll bar idea. And I thought the atv thing out. I have a trailer for that or thought about making pop together with pins somehow so i could take the center peice and folt it up and just lift the roof rack up or easy removability to fit a atv. I just wanted a cross between a roof rack and a prerunner sand dune roll bar. So.ething different. Thanks though for the feedback

190 Popular Roadtrek this guy had converted by Boulder Offroad 4x4 Conversions.
    This thing is awesome!!!
Plate front and rear bumpers with swing outs, front and rear wenches, air ride and a custom roof rack. Tires look small but they are not, this thing is just a beast.

He was bred for a sled team that was going to compete in the Iditarod.

He was however too big for team and way too soft to work.

So how much will replaceing my steering rack bushing help with side to side play? If I lift the front off the ground with the steering wheel locked is it normal to be able to move both tires about a half inch in each direction by grabbing one tire?

Not really sure what qualifies as a bad rack. I went in for an alignment and the shop said they wouldn't do it since my itr's were bad. They quoted me $400 for them to do it. I'm glad I said no. Both were just fine although one wasn't tight. (makes me wonder how often shops say something is wrong and it's not but do the work anyway).

Bushings will help, but not 1/2" of play.
The stock bushings are soft rubber. The poly bushings are much more solid.
Your play may be the rack guide.

One can only imagine how much time/money he spent filling that thing up. Not to mention the gas cans...

How did you verify the movement is not the iTREs. Did you pull off the bellows? Also, I have seen worn oTREs have that kind of play.

    I bet it funnels gas.
This thing cost over a hundred grand before it was converted to a 4x4.
I would love to play with it for a day or 10

Thanks man. You went with relentless low pro mounts right? Did yours have a mounting configuration similar to this?
