    @n0rth

    I know its been a long time ago, but do you remember how the truck felt on 255/85/16 with stock gears? Im looking at that size but dont want it to feel like a slug or chug fuel. Ive also got the urd super charger but its not installed yet.

    Thanks Jared

    Love this little man! Joking say that looking at those 315's haha, great work on making a clean yet badass truck. I dig the black and bronze over that silver bead ring on the wheels.

    I got used to the stock gears and 255's pretty quickly on-road lost a little power and mileage. Off-road I would use 4lo a lot sooner and abuse the clutch a little more, In my opinion the SC+255's+stock gears would work fine.

    Thanks

    I haven't checked this thread in a while but have been out wheeling the truck a little with another Jeep 4banger on 41's.

    Insane build thread :D keep going N0rth! Have you got any lower ball joints problems or even upper balljoint problems with your lift? I'm debating about lifting my truck but I heard 3 inch suspension lifts arent great for suspension geometry.

    Really haven't had any ball joint issues, a few wheel bearings but I'm probably due for some more front end maintenance from beating on the IFS.

    I have just been driving the truck and still collecting parts for the SAS, although I spent the money I had for the SAS on a factory locked 1993 FJ80 and have started building it in the mean time. I'll eventually come back to the Tacoma but working on both the cruisers is where my focus is.

    Put new Falken 315/75r16 AT3/W's tires on the truck this fall as I have been daily driving it again. The swampers still look cooler but amazing how much better it drives with the 315's, 4.88 gears and super charger.

    Had to throw a pick in with the dog he turned 10 this year.

    Some Softopper carnage from a sharp stick from a Sunday drive and the repair that followed.

    We did these boat vinyl patches on both sides, I like the way it turned out.

    Some random pics of the moose that have hanging out in the neighborhood.

    I am still planning on it just spent the money on an FJ80 and started building it for the time being. I have all my axle parts just need to get a housing for it. I'm pretty sure this will be the next locker I get for the front axle.

    Definitely one of my favorite builds on TW. Stilll trying to figure out if there is a cost effective way to replicate what you did with your flares. I'd love to move to 35s but hate the cut flare look.

    I didn't want to chop the factory sheet metal either so I opted for some +2 fiberglass fenders. Not as overt as the +3 and +4 fenders and with enough flare and rise that no trimming is required for 315's.

    How opportune for you to chime in. I was looking at the McNeil racing site last night, recognized your truck on there and was trying to find your build thread. Now I have a convenient link in your sig. I shall take further discussion of this matter of there.
