Hi everyone, I am that guy who said will stripped a TRD Sport and start doing my build, but now I decided: scratch that, I am not comfortable with it. So, I end up ordering an 2017 TRD Pro gray with 6 SPEED MANUAL! No lift/suspension mods are planned for the first 100k km (the first year of the ownership). I wonder what is the largest tire I can run in stock ride hight of TRD Pro? I want to run something like 32s or 33s, (I love 38s, wait and see after a year my fox shock beat up I am thinking getting a bullet proof 12 inch lift anyway, and you KNOW, i am bu****iting. ). There will not be any crazy mods comping, I am selling the set of tires, grill, front bumper with rigids at 0km, any one interested leave a comment, truck will be arrived in 2 months.

6. Leather and Alcantara re-done interior pillers, roofliner, center arm rest, with tundra 1974 accent colour, steering wheel with aftermarket match wood trim.
7. HID headlight, led interior lighting, interior accent lights(colour changable), light bar/winch control panel from switch-pro
8. Autometer Dash mounted tri-gauge pod with Oil pressure gauge, oil temperature, battery voltage and an AFR single gauge mounted on the left hand side pillers
9. Rear Disk brake conversion, BDS 2.5" Strut Spacer Lift Kit with replaced rear shocks(front end kept).
10. URD Short Throw Shifter 2016+ Tacoma 3.5L V6
11. Viper remote start

A 12 inch lift and 38's? Cool. But if your gonna go big, then GO BIG! 14 inch suspension lift and 4 inch body lift and clear you some 44's!

Dude!!!!! I am not sound seriously right? No one gonna run their taco's on 38s. I am just thinking about a 6inch lift +35s.XD

 

WHY get a PRO if you're removing most everything special it comes with. Save some $$ and get a lower model.

- Factory Bumpers ------Have to go(It's so called Pro but don't come with a winch mount)


Basically I will keep majority of the stuff from TRD PRO!!!

I sold my Pro wheels and tires for $800

Ironically, all of us PRO owners are getting rid of our OEM grilles, and everyone else is putting the PRO grilles on

 

$150 to a local Tacoma owner. Same person who bought the wheels. All is good

 

If I cannot sold my stuff probably will just bid on ebay, and see.

I live in Olds, some where near Red Deer, Alberta. Parts that are for sell will be posted and will be auctioned by you guys as soon as the truck landed here.
BTW, I am not really happy with this trim level but for the locking rear diff and manual
Something I hate about the TRD Pro:
1. Where is my sunroof since this model is more expensive than a limited?
2. Where is my JBL sound system since this model is more expensive than a limited?
3. A "TRD Off Road Pro" Dont have a factory winch mount, only come with the smallest rigids which isnt even for sell on rigid website, not so pro
4. If toyota can put a vinyl flooring in a FJ cruiser, why not in a Taco pro?(which I am looking into get it done, snowy day does not go well with carpet even with all weather mats)
5. Jeep Wrangler priced for 50 grand Canadian, Taco Pro priced for 51 grand canadian, why the heck we aren't getting disk brakes, sway bar disc, front and rear diff lock, and the 4wd shift lever?????????????? (didnt mention there is a center locker too.), but seriously you dont need that much goodies, just saying that it is not the best bang for your buck.

But at the end of the day, It is a pickup truck, it is manual, it is V6, it is good off road (I can get a Ram 2500 manual diesel for 60 grand, poc off road).
I test drive the trd sport, or and even limited at least 5 times before I ordered it, abs love it.

 

Not decided yet science the truck ain't landed yet, but soon.
