Just went up and did some night landing practice at my local airport. Started with some normal landings and then started working on short field landings. It was just me and about 20 gallons of gas on board the Cardinal and I was coming in full flaps, 65kts over the fence and putting it down on the numbers and stopping before the thousand footers. I was pretty happy with that.

Oh, and @MTgirl I heard back from the insurance agent on the V35B Bonanza....Yearly rate would be triple what it is in the Cardinal FG.

It's an E90, so it's fast and has good legs for a short body kingair

...^^^... I like the shorter fuselage for looks ... makes it look more like an old muscle car ... :) (my warped thinking, love aircraft & cars o_O).

Got to take my friend Jonny up for his first flight today! I was planning on making a video out of the footage, but I somehow managed to corrupt half of the content. Yay me. Here you can see us on short final into Clark Downtown airport in Branson, MO. If y'all ever have the reason to be there, go to the Fudgery on the landing. It's the best fudge I've ever had...Ever.

Had to shoot the approach this evening at Truckee airport, near Tahoe CA. Moderate turbulence, windshield iced up, popped out at minimums next to snow covered mountains.

    This was on the departure.

Seeing your ride made me feel nostalgic. Now I feel like I need to show off a couple of the King Airs I use to fly. The first is a C90, but whoever owned it before us ordered it with the E90 wing and engines, but not the aux tanks. It was like a flying roadster.
    image.jpg
And one of the 200's after paint, interior, avionics, and wing lockers.

It's just my opinion, but Beech makes some of the nicest, most enjoyable to fly aircraft out there.
